1907: His father, Horace Greeley Ogden,  gives him a Bible which is found in the possession of his grandson Kelly Rose after Kelly's death in 2002.

1942-1946: He was an intelligence officer in the 467th B-24 Heavy Bombardment Group of the USAF. The Group was eventually stationed at an airfield near Rackheath, Norfolk, England. The Internet site, The B-24 Page, has a lot of history about and many great pictures of the B-24 and a massive number of messages from B-24 veterans. These messages include many mentions of the 467th and Rackheath but as of June, 1997, none of Major Ogden.
