Flora's father, John Juchem, came from Germany where
he was a gardener for Kaiser Wilhelm. He designed certain formal
gardens at the Ludwigsburg Castle in Stuttgart.
1906 June: In the CITATION TO HEIRS in regard to Henry's estate, he was living in Edgewater, Colorado
According to Pat Wagner, Flora and John were shot coming out a church on July 15, 1906, by a young boy who was playing with a shotgun. Flora was mortally wounded, and John injured (his injuries may have contributed to his death three years later). Bill Wagner has the Bible Flora was carrying, and it has a shotgun pellet hole in it.
An injury, received eighteen years ago by being thrown from a horse, caused the death of John A. Wagoner, which occurred Sunday morning at 2 o'clock at Park Avenue hospital in Denver. From the time of the accident up until death Mr. Wagoner suffered more or less at all times and during the past two years has had three surgical operations.
Mr. Wagoner was 36 years of age and the son of Mrs. Almeda Wagoner of this place. He leaves three children, Glen, Willard, and Helen, his wife having been killed two years ago while going home from church, being shot by a young man dropping a loaded gun that was discharged in the fall. He leaves one brother, Lelon of Mesa, Colo., and three sisters, Mrs. L. M. Jewell and Mrs. B. L. Rafferty of Berkeley, and Mrs. Grace Bawolski of this place. Mr. Wagoner was a good citizen, pleasant neighbor, an industrious man and earnest church worker. He was a member of the Jefferson Avenue Methodist church.
The funeral occurred at the John Juchem residence near Arvada, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Nat Friend officiating. The burial was at the Arvada cemetery.

Helen E. Wagner married Mr. Maloney, but they had no children. She wrote some family material for Colorado Old-timers (?), a copy of which is owned by Bill Wagner.

[note: the census record was very faint; data in above table may
be wrong.]
Joseph A. Muser is still alive and resides at 3495 Teller St., Wheatridge, CO; (303)-233-2069. I talked to him 7/27/96. He is the only survivor of his generation and knows very little of the Wagners. He gave me the name and phone number of Bill Wagner (below) and was agreeable to future phone calls.
Glenn Wagner married Marie Muser before 1920. Their
children included Bill Wagner, who married Patricia Antoinette
Day, who was born and raised in Denver. They live at 15 Flower
St, Lakewood, CO; (303) 232-3499. They have some family stuff
and invited me to visit them and see it. Pat said something about
a Wagner being a gardener for King Wilhelm in Germany and that
she, while on a trip to Germany, had taken some photographs which
might be of gardens he (Wagner) had created.
1906 June: In the CITATION
TO HEIRS in regard to Henry's estate, he was living in Clayton,
New Mexico.
She married Albert Bawolski in 1896.

She lived at 2801 Second Ave. [The 1996 Zip Code is probably around 90033 or 90057, depending on whether the street was East or West Second.]
[At some time after 1955 and at an age of at least 71, Beatrice
wrote a narrative about Henry Wagner
and his family. A copy of this was found by Bill and Pat Wagner
(Bill is Henry and Almeda's great grandson and consequently my
third cousin), who made a copy for me.]
