Some El Paso County Legal Matters Concerning 

THE WILSON FAMILIES

BG Note:  in the 1980s I spent a few days at the El Paso County Clerk and Recorder's Office in search of 

legal documents which might shed a little light on what my local family had done in this region.  The results

of the search produced most of the information in the tables below

 

Martha Wilson, my great grandmother, is the wife of John Wilson, my great grandfather.  

Etta Wilson, my grandmother, is John's daughter

 

Paton Wilson is John Wilson's brother and so is my great-great-uncle;  He lived on some land NW of Black Forest on 

Campbell Road just west of Table Rock and abutting the Elbert County Line.
