Note: Linnie (Peabody) York, Harry's wife, was a daughter of Edwin and Almeda and was Cecelia Oakley's sister.

 

Linnie was born in 1877 in Gold Run Gulch (3 miles NE of Breckenridge)

Mrs. Peabody was Almeda Peabody, Edwin's wife.

 

Mrs. Oakley was Cecelia Peabody Oakley, Jess Oakley's wife and the mother of Clyde Oakley.

* I (Bill Gateley) visited my grandparents occasionally in the 1930's before they moved to Colorado Springs and remember going into Edna's playhouse a time or two and probably playing (she had some Horatio Alger books)!  At that time there was of course no set of springs leaning against it, and it probably was not painted white.
